Bio:

Gerard belongs to one of the illustrious clans making up the melting pot that is Stahlheim. The Runestrom clan in particular are renowned for their affinity towards manipulating essence, Sorcery and Alchemy specifically. Though the Wrights make up an unique aspect of Dwarven culture, the Runestrom supply the most enchantments within the area and home to Archmage Rolf Runestrom; patriarch of the family approaching his 200s .

Cull among the Clan of Magi, Gerard inherited praise for excelling early in not only magic but the arts of the Wrights as well. Aspirations regarding the Builders and Arcmancy drove the stones burrowed deep within to influence himself towards goals of crafting something similar. Sheltered indoors led to a poor diet, causing a rotund appearance which combined with a shorter stature left to feeling. As others gained kinship or relations, Gerard was augmenting his intellect through studies and experimentation over the loves of his life. Troubles that struck at Stahlheim forced a change he anticipated; enlistment . It was due time, granted he did not feel too comfortable at the prospect of it all. Barely surviving the training itself, others saw him useful for communication, linguistic works, and naturally an engineer. All he prayed to Dranak was he get the opportunity to learn more and perhaps wander past his sheltered life. It be forced one way or another.
